The Blake School of Lake City, Florida was established in 1992. It is the second campus of The Blake School founded and operated by Mrs. Linnie F. Jordan.

The Blake School is a private, Montessori based, co-educational school offering a unique return to the fundamentals of education. Starting at age 3 and continuing through 12th grade, the students achieve their highest academic potential while developing a sense of personal growth and social responsibility. The motto, " Virtue is Nobility," sets the standard for the school. The dedicated faculty, working with the active PTA, combine to achieve the very best for The Blake School Community.

The Blake School is accredited by the Association of Independent Schools of Florida, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and the Council for International and Trans-Regional Accreditation.
