The Blake School of Lake City, Florida was established in 1992. It is the second campus of The Blake School founded and operated by Mrs. Linnie F. Jordan.

The Blake School is a private, Montessori based, co-educational school offering a unique return to the fundamentals of education. Starting at age 3 and continuing through 12th grade, the students achieve their highest academic potential while developing a sense of personal growth and social responsibility. It is committed to the student's total well-being and emphasizes self-discipline as the means to establishing permanent, worthwile moral values which will result in self-respect and leadership capabilities. There is little satisfaction in being an individual unless one's individuality is directed toward a constructive purpose. The student's earnest curiosity to know and understand is encouraged by the exceptional academic program of The Blake School.

High academic standards can help the students discover their unique talents that motivate them to exceed to their expectations and mature into adults who are confident, cooperative and know that they alone can make things happen.
